SENATE RESOLUTION

 

 

relating to the Administration of the Oath of Office to Senators Duly Elected by the 2008 Primary Election or the 2008 General Election of the State of Hawaii.

 

 


     WHEREAS, on November 12, 2008, at 3:00 p.m., at the Hawaii State Capitol in Honolulu, Hawaii, the Honorable Ronald T.Y. Moon, Chief Justice of the Hawaii Supreme Court, administered the Oath of Office pursuant to Article XVI, Section 4, of the Constitution of the State of Hawaii to the following duly elected Senators:

 

     Dwight Y. Takamine, District 1; Rosalyn H. Baker, District 5; Brickwood Galuteria, District 12; David Y. Ige, District 16; Michelle N. Kidani, District 17; Clarence K. Nishihara, District 18; Colleen Hanabusa, District 21; Robert Bunda, District 22; and Clayton Hee, District 23; and

 

     WHEREAS, on November 17, 2008, at 9:30 a.m., at the Hawaii State Capitol in Honolulu, Hawaii, the Honorable Ronald T.Y. Moon, Chief Justice of the Hawaii Supreme Court, administered the Oath of Office to the following duly elected Senators:

 

     Josh Green, M.D., District 3; and J. Kalani English, District 6; now, therefore,

 

     BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the Twenty-fourth Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Third Special Session of 2008, that the foregoing information be placed in the Journal of this Third Special Session of the Twenty-fourth Legislature 2008.
