The purpose of this informational briefing is to learn more about future energy pathways for Hawaiʻi, including scenarios not examined in the Alternative Fuels, Repowering, and Energy Transition Study, such as faster adoption of renewable energy, and to better understand the potential impacts on rates, resilience, reliability, and decarbonization.
