The purpose of this measure is to establish a Hawaii Island Property Manager position within the Agribusiness Development Corporation.

Your Committee received testimony in support of this measure from the Agribusiness Development Corporation; Hawaiʻi Farm Bureau; Hawaiʻi Farmers Union; Agriculture Stewardship Hawaiʻi; and Hawaiʻi Food+ Policy.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your Committee is in accord with the intent and purpose of S.B. No. 2407, S.D. 2, H.D. 1, and recommends that it pass Third Reading.
