Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred H.C.R. No. 18 entitled:

"HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO CONVENE A HOSPICE WORKING GROUP TO EXAMINE TRENDS AND REGULATIONS IN THE HOSPICE INDUSTRY,"

begs leave to report as follows:

The purpose of this measure is to request the Department of Health to convene a hospice working group to examine trends and regulations in the hospice industry.

Your Committee received testimony in support of this measure from the Department of Health, and Navian Hawaii.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of H.C.R. No. 18 and recommends its adoption.
