Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred H.C.R. No. 14 entitled:

"HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A PERPETUAL, NON-EXCLUSIVE EASEMENT COVERING A PORTION OF STATE SUBMERGED LANDS AT WAIALAE, HONOLULU, OAHU, FOR EXISTING DRAINAGE PURPOSES, AND FOR USE, OPERATION, REPAIR, AND MAINTENANCE OF THE EXISTING IMPROVEMENTS CONSTRUCTED THEREON,"

begs leave to report as follows:

The purpose of this measure is to authorize the issuance of a perpetual, non-exclusive easement covering a portion of state submerged lands at Waialae, Honolulu, Oahu for existing drainage purposes, and for use, operation, repair, and maintenance of the existing improvements constructed thereon.

Your Committee received testimony on this measure in support from the Department of Land and Natural Resources.

Your Committee has amended this measure by clarifying number of easements and their respective square footages within the total easement area.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of H.C.R. No. 14, as amended herein, and recommends its adoption in the form attached hereto as H.C.R. No. 14, H.D. 1.
