Your Committee on Housing, to which was referred H.C.R. No. 124 entitled:

"HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE DEPARTMENT OF HAWAIIAN HOME LANDS TO EXPAND AND STRENGTHEN FINANCIAL LITERACY, CREDIT READINESS, AND HOMEOWNERSHIP PREPAREDNESS PROGRAMS,"

The purpose of this measure is to request the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands to expand and strengthen programs that improve financial literacy, credit readiness, and homeownership preparedness for beneficiaries, supporting long-term housing stability and generational wealth.

Your Committee received testimony in support of this measure from the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, Hawaiian Council, and one individual.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Housing that is attached to this report, your Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of H.C.R. No. 124 and recommends that it be referred to your Committee on Judiciary & Hawaiian Affairs.
