Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred H.C.R. No. 110 entitled:

"HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII BOARD OF REGENTS TO REVIEW AND REFINE THE OPERATIONAL MISSIONS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII'S FOUR-YEAR INSTITUTIONS TO ENSURE THAT EACH CAMPUS FULFILLS A DISTINCT AND COMPLEMENTARY ROLE IN SERVING STUDENTS AND THE STATE,"

begs leave to report as follows:

The purpose of this measure is to request the University of Hawaii Board of Regents to review and refine the operational missions of the University of Hawaii's four-year institutions to ensure that each campus fulfills a distinct and complementary role in serving students and the State.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of H.C.R. No. 110 and recommends its adoption.
