HOUSE RESOLUTION
relating to the committee assignments of the House of representatives of the thirty-third legislature.
BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the Thirty-third Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2026, that due to the resignation of former Representative Daniel Holt, he shall no longer be the Chair of the Legislative Management Committee, the GIA Manager of the Finance Committee, and a member of the Economic Development & Technology Committee and Tourism Committee; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that SEAN QUINLAN shall no longer be the Vice Chair of the Legislative Management Committee, but shall be added as the Chair of the Legislative Management Committee, and shall remain as the Majority Leader and a member of the Agriculture & Food Systems Committee and Energy & Environmental Protection Committee; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that LINDA ICHIYAMA shall be added as the Vice Chair of the Legislative Management Committee and shall remain as the Vice Speaker and a member of the Consumer Protection & Commerce Committee, Public Safety Committee, and Water & Land Committee; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that KIRSTIN KAHALOA shall be added as a member of the Legislative Management Committee and shall remain as the Majority Caucus Leader and a member of the Agriculture & Food Systems Committee, Energy & Environmental Protection Committee, and Judiciary & Hawaiian Affairs Committee; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that KYLE T. YAMASHITA shall no longer be the Revenue Manager of the Finance Committee, but shall be added as the GIA Manager of the Finance Committee, and shall remain as a member of the Economic Development & Technology Committee and Tourism Committee; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as amended by this Resolution, all appointments and committee memberships of the House of Representatives as set forth in H.R. No. 1 adopted by the House of Representatives of the Thirty-third Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2026, shall remain in full force and effect.
