HOUSE RESOLUTION

RECOGNIZing AND COMMENDing 808 ELITE FOR ITS HISTORIC ACHIEVEMENTS AT THE AMERICAN YOUTH FOOTBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPs.

WHEREAS, youth athletics programs promote discipline, teamwork, leadership development, and lifelong productive habits among Hawaiʻi's youth; and

WHEREAS, 808 Elite has distinguished itself through outstanding on-field performances, good sportsmanship, and a strong commitment to excellence while representing the State of Hawaiʻi in the American Youth Football National Championships; and

WHEREAS, 808 Elite demonstrated exceptional athletic ability and preparedness by defeating the third-ranked team in the nation, showcasing Hawaiʻi's wealth of talent on a national stage; and

WHEREAS, through their dedication and teamwork, the student-athletes of 808 Elite helped put Hawaiʻi football on the national map, built a brotherhood that will last a lifetime, and sent a clear message that Hawaiʻi football truly is elite; and

WHEREAS, the accomplishments of 808 Elite at the American Youth Football National Championships are a source of pride for the State of Hawaiʻi and serve as an inspiration to youth across the islands; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the Thirty-third Legislature of the State of Hawaiʻi, Regular Session of 2026, that this body hereby recognizes and commends 808 Elite for its historic achievements at the American Youth Football National Championships, expresses its profound, deep appreciation to the team for representing Hawaiʻi with distinction, and extends to the team its warmest aloha and best wishes for continued success in all future endeavors.
