RELATING TO MARINE LIFE CONSERVATION DISTRICTS.

Authorizes the Department of Land and Natural Resources to close all or portions of any marine life conservation district for various periods of time and to adopt rules for the regulation of commercial activity within a marine life conservation district; provided that the marine life conservation district is located on or adjacent to the shores of Oahu.  Effective 7/1/2050.  (SD1)

RELATING TO CONSUMER PROTECTION.

Prohibits the sale of tickets at a price higher than three dollars more than the original price charged by the primary venue ticket provider for events held in the State.  Permits the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs to adopt rules to impose fines for any violations.  Repeals provisions relating to ticket brokers.  (SD1)

RELATING TO AGRICULTURAL DISTRICTS.

Requires condominium maps for lands within an agricultural district to include a letter signed by an appropriate county official or agency certifying that the condominium property regime will conform to county zoning laws.  Authorizes counties to require the county's approval of the subdivision of parcels of land larger than ten acres prior to the effective date of the condominium property regime.

Clarifies insurance requirements for single-family and multi-family housing projects to obtain expedited permitting from county agencies.  (SD1)

RELATING TO LIQUOR.

Provides that the University of Hawaii and its campuses and state libraries may utilize liquor in certain educational settings without obtaining liquor licenses, subject to certain limitations.  (SD1)
