     Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred S.B. No. 3204, S.D. 1, H.D. 1, entitled:

 

"A BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO FAMILY RESILIENCE PILOT PROGRAM,"

 

begs leave to report as follows:

 

     The purpose of this measure is to establish and appropriate Temporary Assistance for Needy Families funds for a two-year Family Resilience Pilot Program within the Office of Wellness and Resilience to build family resilience and provide comprehensive specialized support services to eligible families.

 

     Your Committee received testimony in support of this measure from the Department of Human Services; State Health Planning and Development Agency; Executive Office on Early Learning; Office of Wellness and Resilience; Hawaiʻi State Council on Developmental Disabilities; Aloha United Way; Catholic Charities Hawaiʻi; Hawaiʻi Children's Action Network Speaks!; Aloha Independent Living Hawaii; and two individuals.

 

     As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your Committee is in accord with the intent and purpose of S.B. No. 3204, S.D. 1, H.D. 1, and recommends that it pass Third Reading.
