Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred H.B. No. 1131, H.D. 1, entitled:

"A BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO AN INTENSIVE MOBILE TEAM PILOT PROGRAM FOR HOUSELESS INDIVIDUALS SUFFERING FROM SERIOUS BRAIN DISORDERS,"

begs leave to report as follows:

The purpose of this measure is to establish and appropriate funds for a pilot program in the Department of Health to provide intensive mobile team services to at least forty chronically houseless individuals suffering from serious brain disorders.

Your Committee received comments on this measure from the Department of Health and Hawaii Government Employees Association, AFSCME Local 152, AFL-CIO.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your Committee is in accord with the intent and purpose of H.B. No. 1131, H.D. 1, and recommends that it pass Third Reading.
