A BILL FOR AN ACT

relating to school repairs.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. Chapter 302A, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to part VI, subpart A, to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:

"§302A- Repair project dashboard. The department shall establish and maintain an electronic dashboard on its website that details the status of all repair projects at department schools."

SECTION 2. The department shall implement the repair project dashboard starting with department schools on the island having the greatest population.

SECTION 3. New statutory material is underscored.

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
