A G E N D A

 

The ACT 310, SLH 2025 Nonprofit Grants Program will conduct a joint informational briefing on ACT 310, SLH 2025, grant applications.  This information gathering briefing will be conducted in-person at the State Capitol, Auditorium and via Zoom.  It is highly recommended that participants attend virtually.

 

A link to the submitted applications will be posted on the Capitol website. Please monitor the Capitol website for updates.

 

Applicants are not required to participate in the informational briefing, and all applications will be considered regardless of whether applicants participate.  Due to the volume of applications received, and to maximize efficiency, the following rules will be applied during the informational briefing:

 

1.     Applicants will be invited to participate in the following order:

a.  In-person Neighbor Island applicants

b.  In-person Oahu applicants

c.  All Zoom participants from A to Z order

2.     Zoom applicants are required to login and rename themselves as their organization by 12:00 PM.

3.     Instructions regarding participation, and if needed, the Zoom link to participate remotely, will be emailed to each organization to the email address provided in the application. The Legislature will not be responsible for bad connections on the testifier’s end;

4.     Only one (1) representative per applicant will be allowed to participate, regardless of the number of applications submitted by any applicant;

5.     Each applicant will be allowed no more than one (1) minute to provide information;

6.     On the day of the briefing, in-person participants will need to check in with staff at the Auditorium immediately prior to the briefing;

7.     Zoom participants will be called on after all in-person participants have spoken;

8.     Written testimony may be submitted to GIATestimony@capitol.hawaii.gov;

9.     If you would like to distribute information directly to the members of the committees beyond your application, you can do so directly to each legislator. Legislator's email can be found on the capitol website;

 

Please be advised the Committee will recess at 12:00 PM.
