The purpose of this informational briefing is to provide an update on findings from the Deportation Data Project and policy recommendations in light of changing federal executive orders, policies, and enforcement actions. 

1. Salmah Y. Rizvi, Executive Director, ACLU Hawai‘i, or her designee, and
2. Hayley Y. Cheng, Assistant Public Defender, Hawai‘i Office of the Public Defender, or her designee

Questions by Committee members will be permitted throughout the briefing. For members of the public who would like to attend the briefing in person, a photo ID is required for entrance to the State Capitol. Building hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. 

No public testimony will be accepted.
