RELATING TO ADAPTATION PATHWAYS PLANNING.

Expands the authority of the State and counties to develop adaptation pathways plans to modify and relocate infrastructure away from critically threatened areas to locations outside sea level rise and coastal flooding exposure areas.  Appropriates funds.  Effective 7/1/3000.  (HD2)

RELATING TO WATER.

Part I: Establishes a WAI Policy Coordinator and other positions within the Department of Land and Natural Resources for coordination of Red Hill WAI initiatives. Creates the Red Hill Remediation Special Fund. Declares the general fund expenditure ceiling is exceeded. Appropriates funds. Part II: Repeals the position of deputy to chairperson of the Commission. Amends the composition of the Commission and administratively attaches it to DLNR. Establishes fines for certain water use offenses. Takes effect 7/1/2050. (Proposed SD1)

RELATING TO ROSE-RINGED PARAKEETS.

Establishes a one-year pilot program to reduce the population of rose-ringed parakeets on Kauai using past research and on-the-ground experience to guide future strategies.  Appropriates funds.  Sunsets 6/30/2025.  Effective 7/1/3000.  (HD1)
