A BILL FOR AN ACT

RELATING TO THE STATE HISTORIC PRESERVATION DIVISION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $           or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2023-2024 for a library digitization process for the state historic preservation division.

The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of land and natural resources for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 2. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $          or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2023-2024 and the sum of $           or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2024-2025 for the operations of the state historic preservation division.

The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of land and natural resources for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on June 30, 3000.
