RELATING TO THE FESTIVAL OF PACIFIC ARTS.

Appropriates funds to the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism for the Commission on the Thirteenth Festival of Pacific Arts and Culture to plan for the Festival of Pacific Arts and Culture to be held in Honolulu from June 6 to June 16, 2024.  Effective 7/1/2050.  (SD1)

RELATING TO HOUSING.

Establishes the ALOHA Homes Program to develop low-cost homes on state-owned and county-owned land in urban redevelopment sites to be sold in leasehold by the Hawaii Public Housing Authority to qualified residents.  Exempts certain land from the definition of public lands.  Provides for the disposition of lands acquired by the Hawaii Public Housing Authority but no longer needed for the ALOHA Homes Program.  Appropriates funds.  (SD1)

RELATING TO COMBAT SPORTS.

Establishes the Combat Sports Commission of Hawaii.  Provides for regulation of combat sports.  Prohibits no rules combat or similar contests.  Appropriates funds for an unspecified number of full-time equivalent positions within the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs for the Combat Sports Commission of Hawaii.  Effective 7/1/2050.  (SD1)

RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII.

Designates the Vice President for Budget and Finance and Chief Financial Officer of the University of Hawaii as the Chief Procurement Officer for the University and appropriates funds for the transition.  Appropriates funds for repair and maintenance of University of Hawaii campus buildings and infrastructure.  Effective 7/1/2050.  (SD1)

RELATING TO BROADBAND.

Appropriates general funds to provide required matching funds for the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment Program.  Appropriates from the funds received by the State of Hawaii from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act for the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment Program.  Requires the Office of the Lieutenant Governor to convene and lead the working group established pursuant to Act 231, Session Laws of Hawaii 2022.  Effective 1/1/2050.  (SD2)
