            SECTION 1.  Senate Bill No. 945, S.D. 2, H.D. 2, C.D. 1, is amended by deleting section 6.

            SECTION 2.  Senate Bill No. 945, S.D. 2, H.D. 2, C.D. 1, section 7, is amended by amending page 82, lines 10-21 to read as follows:

     "SECTION 6.  There is appropriated out of the compliance resolution fund established pursuant to section 26-9(o), Hawaii Revised Statutes, the sum of $500,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2023-2024 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2024-2025 to carry out the special purpose digital currency licensing program established by section 2 of this Act."

            SECTION 3.  Senate Bill No. 945, S.D. 2, H.D. 2, C.D. 1, is amended by renumbering sections 8 and 9 as sections 7 and 8, respectively.
