A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

relating to procurement.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 


     SECTION 1.  The state procurement office shall amend section 3-122-75(f), Hawaii Administrative Rules, to provide that expenditures with an estimated total cost that is less than $5,000 may be awarded in any manner the purchasing agency deems practical or convenient, including by direct selection or award.

     SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
