RELATING TO PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS.

Expands the scope of practice for physician assistants.  Requires a sampling of medical records, rather than all medical records, to be reviewed when physician assistants prescribe controlled substances.  Effective 7/1/2060.  (HD2)

RELATING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH.

Sets the manner by which the Oahu regional health care system should request operational funding during the transitional period of the Oahu regional health care system from the Hawaii health systems corporation to the department of health.  Extends the deadline by which the transfer shall take place.  Requires a report to the legislature prior to the regular session of 2023.  Clarifies the procedure for the working group to discuss matters concerning patient privacy and prospective bidders.  Appropriates funds.  Effective 7/1/2060.  (HD2)

RELATING TO POOLS.

For purposes of the Department of Health's authority to adopt rules concerning public health and safety, defines "pool" to mean a watertight artificial structure containing a body of water that does not exchange water with any other body of water either naturally or mechanically used for swimming, diving, recreational bathing, or therapy by humans.  Effective 7/1/2060.  (HD1)

RELATING TO SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUE BONDS FOR ASSISTING NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATIONS THAT PROVIDE HEALTH CARE FACILITIES TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

Authorizes the issuance of special purpose revenues bonds to assist The Queen's Health Systems.  Effective 7/1/2060.  (HD1)
