RELATING TO VETERINARY MEDICINE.

Authorizes the board to grant temporary courtesy and relief permits for out-of-state veterinarians.  Permits licensed veterinarians to practice veterinarian telemedicine.  Allows for international veterinary school graduates to qualify for the licensure examination.

RELATING TO HEMP.

Removes certain duplicative regulations imposed on hemp producers in the State.  Allows hemp producers to sell biomass directly to consumers.  Requires that hemp produced in the State be labeled as Hawaii produced and that hemp produced outside the State be labeled with the appropriate origin.

RELATING TO SCHOOL-BASED HEALTH SERVICES.

Includes advanced practice registered nurses with prescriptive authority in the list of health care professionals authorized to administer medication to public school students.  Requires administration of the medication to be approved by the Department of Health or other on-campus, school-based, health care provider pursuant to a written agreement with the Department of Education.  (SD1)

Establishes that gender-based pricing by manufacturers who sell the goods they manufacture to any person in the State for a price they set constitutes an unlawful deceptive trade practice.  (SD1)

RELATING TO CONDOMINIUMS.

Increases the minimum number of residential units in a condominium project that must be offered for sale to prospective owner-occupants in the thirty-day period following the initial date of sale of the condominium from 50 percent to 90 percent.

RELATING TO CONTRACTORS.

Clarifies that a licensed specialty contractor may perform incidental and supplement work in crafts or trades other than in which the specialty contractor is licensed; provided that, when measured by the cost and extent of work involved in executing the specialty contract's work, the performance of the unlicensed work is substantially less than and only incidental and supplemental to the performance of work in the craft for which the specialty contractor is licensed.  Effective 7/1/2050.  (SD1)

Repeals section 453-34(d), HRS, which limits licensure as an emergency medical technician 1 to individuals whose practice is performed in a county with a population of 500,000 or greater.

Establishes requirements and permitting procedures for transportation network companies and transportation network divers.  Makes permanent the motor vehicle insurance requirements for transportation network companies and transportation network company drivers in Act 236, Session Laws of Hawaii 2016.  Takes effect 1/1/2050.  (SD1)

RELATING TO FIREWORKS.
