Representative Karl Rhoads currently serves as Chair of the Committee on Judiciary.<br><br>
Representative Rhoads has represented Hawaii's 29th House District since 2006.  Over the years, Rhoads has been heavily involved in the community, participating in the Chinatown Citizens Patrol and as a member of the Downtown Neighborhood Board.<br><br>
Born on January 24, 1963, Representative Rhoads received a B.A. from Andrews University in History in 1986.  He continued his education, receiving a M.A. in Soviet and Eastern European Area Studies at the University of London in 1987 and in 1996, received his J.D. from George Washington University.
