Free meal program to expand to 52 public schools total on six islands


Eight Hawaii Island schools are added to the 10 schools receiving free meals for all students through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).

Schools in District 2:
Chiefess Kapiolani Elementary
Hilo Union Elementary
Keaukaha Elementary

Story Time with Rep. Todd at Hilo Public Library

Chris Todd, who represents District 2 in the Hawaii House of Representatives, will read aloud stories during a special story time for children of all ages. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 15 days in advance to request special accommodations or a sign language interpreter.
