Representative Bob McDermott was a Marine Officer who served in Gulf War 1. He has been married for 
30 years and has eight children and seven grandchildren. He holds an MBA degree from Chaminade 
University. Representative McDermott has served six terms in the Hawaii State House of Representatives. 
Representative McDermott is a devoted family man and an active member of his church. He has served our 
community in many ways and is honored to represent the Ewa Beach community in his seventh term in the 
State Legislature.
