Representative Ito represents Hawaii's 49th House District and has served in the Hawaii State House of Representatives since 1994.<br>
Born on April 29, 1944, Representative Ito and his wife, Joyce, have one daughter, and four grandsons. Representative Ito is a graduate from Gov. Wallace Rider Farrington High School and received a B.Ed. from the University of Hawaii in 1970.  Received an Ed.D. from the University of Southern California in Global Education, July, 2015.
