Representative Linda Ichiyama represents the 32nd House District,
including Moanalua, Salt Lake and Aliamanu, where she was born and raised.
Elected to office in 2010, she currently serves as the Chair on the
Pandemic and Disaster Preparedness Committee. In addition, she serves on
the Committee on Government Reform and the Committee on Judiciary and
Hawaiian Affairs. She is also one of four co-conveners of the bipartisan
Women’s Legislative Caucus.
Representative Ichiyama is a graduate of Moanalua High School, Georgetown
University, and the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University
of Hawaii at Manoa. She has been active in the community through a number
of organizations, including the Hawaii Jaycees, the Moanalua Lions Club,
the Japanese American Citizens League and the Honolulu Community Action Program.
