The Hawaii State Senate Committee on Economic Development, Environment, and Technology, headed by chair Sen. Glenn Wakai, has scheduled Decision Making on HB 1847 HD 2 SD 1 (proposed) - Relating to the Sports and Entertainment Authority, will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 1:40p.m. in conference room 414 at the Hawaii State Capitol.
The measure establishes the Sports and Entertainment Authority to coordinate and develop the entertainment and sports industry in the State, including attracting local, national, and international events, for the benefit of professional, amateur, and youth athletes.
