RELATING TO DRIVER'S LICENSES.

Extends the renewal period from two years to four years for licensees who are seventy-two years of age or older but younger than eighty years of age.  Effective 7/1/3021.  (HD1)

RELATING TO REGISTRATION OF VEHICLES.

Subjects U-drive motor vehicles to the same motor vehicle registration fees as other motor vehicles.  Effective 7/1/2050.  (HD1)

RELATING TO ELECTRIC VEHICLES.

Authorizes each county to adopt ordinances to enforce section 291-71, HRS, including the establishment of penalties for failure to comply with its requirements or maintain electric vehicle charging stations in working order.  Clarifies that certain enforcement officers may enter private property to enforce electric vehicle parking space violations.  Requires new electric vehicle charging systems installed pursuant to the electric vehicle charging system requirement to be at least Level 2 and network-capable.  Increases the number of required parking spots for electric vehicles from one space to five spaces.  Effective 7/1/2050.  (HD1)

RELATING TO AIRCRAFT.

Requires the Director of Transportation to adopt rules to require tour aircraft operators to have commercial general liability insurance coverage of at least $10,000,000 and to report details of each flight taken by the tour aircraft operation in order to renew a tour aircraft operation permit. (SD1 Proposed)
