Status

RELATING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HAWAIIAN HOME LANDS.

Appropriates funds for a study by DHHL to plan for water flooding, climate change, and redevelopment of twenty parcels of land in the Mapunapuna or Shafter Flats area.

Status

RELATING TO REAL PROPERTY TRANSACTIONS.

Requires that mandatory seller disclosures in real estate transactions include identification of residential real properties lying within the sea level rise exposure area as designated by the relevant county. Effective 12/31/2050.

Status

RELATING TO STATE FACILITIES.

Requires DLNR and the judiciary to make improvements to state facilities to reach goals of net-zero energy and one hundred percent water reclamation by 1/1/2035 and 1/1/2045, respectively.

Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.  Testimony should indicate:

·    Testifier's name with position/title and organization;

·    The Committee(s) to which the comments are directed;

·    The date and time of the hearing; and

·    Measure number.

 

While every effort will be made to incorporate all testimony received, materials received on the day of the hearing or improperly identified or directed, may be distributed to the Committee after the hearing.

Testimony submitted will be placed on the legislative website.  This public posting of testimony on the website should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.

 

If during the course of the hearing it appears there will not be sufficient time to allow everyone to be heard, the chairperson reserves the right to limit the remaining testifiers to three-minutes.  This three-minute policy will be enforced to ensure fairness and adequate consideration to all bills.
