RELATING TO RENTAL DISCRIMINATION. Prohibits discrimination, including in advertisements for available real property, based on participation in a housing assistance program, or requirements related to participation in housing assistance programs, in real estate transactions and requirements.

RELATING TO THE PENAL CODE. Establishes the criminal offense of trespassing on critical electrical infrastructure. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD1)

RELATING TO FIREARMS. Prohibits the manufacture, possession, sale, barter, trade, gift, transfer, or acquisition of detachable ammunition magazines with a capacity in excess of ten rounds, regardless of the type of firearm with which the magazine is compatible, except for magazines that was legally possessed prior to this Act. Requires every person in the State who possessed a large-capacity magazine prior to this Act to register the magazine with the appropriate county police department. Prohibits the sale, barter, trade, gift, transfer, or acquisition, except by means of inheritance, of such large-capacity magazines and requires the inheritor to update registration. Makes an exception for possession and use by law enforcement agencies and officers. Effective 1/1/2021. (SD1)

RELATING TO CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES. Establishes procedures for the use of administrative and disciplinary segregation in correctional facilities. (SD1)

RELATING TO PUBLIC SAFETY. Authorizes the Director of Public Safety to withhold certain information regarding deaths at correctional facilities or community correctional centers. Requires the director to include in the report regarding the death that is submitted to the governor a description of the circumstances and cause of death of the individual and ensure that the description does not contain any details that could identify the deceased individual.

RELATING TO FIREARMS AMMUNITION. Requires a purchaser to present to a seller a valid government issued identification card and a valid permit to acquire a firearm, a handgun safety training course affidavit, or a hunter education card. Requires the licensing of sellers of ammunition, and for the identification and proper permitting of purchasers or possessors of ammunition. Regulates ammunition in the same manner that firearms are regulated. (SD1)
