A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING to Property management.
BE IT
ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 421I, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:
"§421I- Property manager; certification. Any property manager of a property governed by this chapter shall be certified in property management by a nationally recognized body."
SECTION 2. Chapter 421J, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:
"§421J- Property manager; certification. Any property manager of a property governed by this chapter shall be certified in property management by a nationally recognized body."
SECTION 3. Chapter 514B, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:
"§514B- Property manager; certification. Any property manager of a property governed by this chapter shall be certified in property management by a nationally recognized body."
SECTION 4. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
