A BILL FOR AN ACT
Making an appropriation to the department of education.
BE IT
ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $83,164 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2019-2020 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2020-2021 for the establishment of three permanent full-time equivalent (3.00 FTE) positions for the school food services branch under program EDN400/MB:
(1) Two dietitians; and
(2) One supply specialist.
The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of education for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2019.
