Your Committee on Health, to which was referred H.B. No. 1201 entitled:

"A BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO HEALTH,"

begs leave to report as follows:

The purpose of this measure is to appropriate moneys for the Department of Health's lead poisoning prevention activities.

The Department of Health commented on this measure.

Your Committee has amended this measure by:

(1) Changing the appropriation to an unspecified amount; and

(2) Changing its effective date to July 1, 2050.

Should your Committee on Finance deliberate this measure further, your Committee on Health respectfully requests that it consider appropriating $1,000,000 for fiscal years 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 for lead poisoning prevention activities.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Health that is attached to this report, your Committee is in accord with the intent and purpose of H.B. No. 1201, as amended herein, and recommends that it pass Second Reading in the form attached hereto as H.B. No. 1201, H.D. 1, and be referred to your Committee on Finance.
