RELATING TO FIRE SPRINKLERS.

Prohibits counties from charging for automatic fire sprinkler or automatic fire sprinkler system inspections in any HHFDC housing projects.  Effective July 1, 2112.  (HB1461 HD1)

Requires the Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism to establish a task force to create energy proposals and standards.  (HB1294 HD1)

Requires the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to convene a working group to develop standards for reporting energy consumption to facilitate comparisons of energy consumption and costs by consumers and home buyers.  (HB1249 HD1)

RELATING TO THE DOWNPAYMENT LOAN ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.

Expands the Downpayment Loan Program to provide greater assistance to low and moderate income first-time homebuyers.

Increases the Hula Mae Multifamily Revenue Bond authorization amount.

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW

 

Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.  Testimony should indicate:

·     Testifier's name with position/title and organization;

·     The Committee(s) to which the comments are directed;

·     The date and time of the hearing; and

·     Measure number. 

 

While every effort will be made to incorporate all testimony received, materials received on the day of the hearing or improperly identified or directed, may be distributed to the Committee after the hearing.
