RELATING TO CHILD CARE.

Requires operators of child care facilities, including family child care homes, group child care centers, group child care homes, and infant and toddler child care centers that care for children one year of age or younger to implement and maintain safe sleep policies to prevent sudden unexpected infant deaths and sudden infant death syndrome in accordance with rules adopted by the Department of Human Services.

RELATING TO MEDICAID PROVIDERS.

Authorizes health care providers under the state medicaid program to ask about supplemental nutrition assistance program (food stamp) participation on medicaid certification and re-certification forms.

RELATING TO HUMAN SERVICES.

Appropriates funds to DHS to reimburse non-profit entities that provide housing assistance services to the homeless population.

RELATING TO HOUSING.

Establishes the housing for the homeless special fund and executive office on homeless identity protection to assist homeless individuals with the process, including associated costs, of obtaining a government-issued identification document.  Makes an appropriation.
