RELATING TO ELECTIONS.

Allows a voter to distribute or share an electronic or digital image of the voter's own marked ballot via social media or other means.  Establishes that distributing or sharing the image of a voter's own marked ballot is not a defense for any election offenses or related offenses under the Penal Code.  (SD1)

RELATING TO CHILD VISITATION.

Deletes duplicative provision of awarding grandparents reasonable visitation rights.  Adds as prerequisites to awarding visitation that the court find that awarding custody to a grandparent is in the best interest of the child and that denial of reasonable grandparent visitation rights would cause actual or potential harm to the child.  Clarifies procedures for an order awarding reasonable visitation rights to grandparents and that a violation of the terms and conditions of such an order is subject to sanctions or contempt of court.  Takes effect on 1/7/2059.  (SD1)

RELATING TO CAMPAIGN FINANCE.

Establishes an exemption from the prohibition against using election campaign funds to make charitable donations or to award scholarships during the period from the filing of nomination papers to the date of the general election, for candidates who are already declared elected to office after running unopposed in an election.

RELATING TO THE BOARD OF EDUCATION.

Requires the board of education to conduct annual self-evaluations, report a summary of its self-evaluations to the legislature, and post the summary on its public website.

Provides a measure for extending the reporting date of the 2015-2017 tax review commission and appropriates $250,000 for fiscal year 2016-2017 for the commission.
