RELATING TO AGRICULTURAL LANDS MANAGED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF
AGRICULTURE AND THE AGRIBUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION.
Requires that lands managed by the department of agriculture and the
agribusiness development corporation are disposed of in a variety of sizes
and to diversified tenants to support a diversified agricultural economy.
Requires the department of agriculture and the agribusiness development
corporation to: (1) consider the diversity of their leased or transferred
lands when approving leases or transfers; and (2) submit annual reports
regarding land dispositions to the legislature and to post a copy of the
reports on the Internet.

Requires the agribusiness development corporation to make increasing
agriculture and local food production its primary mission, establish a
sustainable agriculture and local food production plan, submit annual reports
to the legislature, and lease 50 percent of its land to operations that
support increasing agriculture and local food production within the next ten
years.

parcels of agricultural lands one hundred acres or greater in size if at
least 50 per cent of the parcel has soil classified by the land study

class A or B.

RELATING TO HISTORIC PRESERVATION.
Includes only buildings, structures, objects, districts, areas, or sites that
are significant in Hawaii's history, architecture, archeology, engineering,
or culture in the definition of "historic property". Requires the
state historic preservation division of the Department of Land and Natural
Resources to initiate a pilot reconnaissance architectural survey project to
document selected residences built between 1945 and 1980 and conduct a study
of Hawaii mid-century architecture. Requires the division to provide the
public and the counties with a list that identifies the types of projects
that have no potential to affect a historic property; provide a list of
properties identified by street address and tax map key that are likely to be
ineligible for inclusion in the Hawaii register of historic places to the
counties; and provide owners of historic property with notice of the
property's likely eligibility in the Hawaii register of historic places.
