RELATING TO HEALTH. Authorizes the Department of Health (DOH) to maintain a forum on its website where specified state-licensed care facilities may post vacancy information. Requires DOH to convene a working group to discuss and provide feedback on the implementation and maintenance of the forum. Appropriates funds. (HB859 HD1)

RELATING TO THE CIVIL MONETARY PENALTY SPECIAL FUND. A special fund is needed to deposit moneys from federal fines assessed against skilled nursing facilities and home health agencies during inspections conducted by the Department of Health on behalf of the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. These moneys cannot be comingled with any other federal or state funds. (HB943 HD1)
