RELATING TO EDUCATION. Authorizes Department of Education (DOE) employees and agents to volunteer to administer auto-injectable epinephrine to a student with anaphylaxis in an emergency situation and to assist in the testing and management of diabetes for students. Allows students with diabetes to self-test and self-manage their illness. Requires DOE to report on the status of implementation. (HB10 HD1)

RELATING TO HEALTH. Beginning with the 2016-2017 school year, requires public schools to annually provide information about the human papillomavirus, including the connection between human papillomavirus to cervical and other cancers and diseases, and the availability of vaccines against the human papillomavirus to parents or guardians of students entering sixth grade.

RELATING TO HEALTH. Specifies additional elements of Hawaii's existing sexuality health education law and its implementation. Requires the DOE to provide certain types of information to the public and to parents. Allows parents to opt out of the DOE's sexuality health education.

RELATED TO SMOKING. Allows condominiums and cooperative housing corporations to adopt rules to prohibit smoking in units, common elements, or limited common elements.

RELATING TO IN VITRO FERTILIZATION INSURANCE COVERAGE. Provides insurance coverage equality for women who are diagnosed with infertility by making available to them expanded treatment options, ensuring adequate and affordable health care services.
