SB379 SD1 (SSCR370) Status and Testimony	RELATING TO FOOD. Expands and creates new categories for homemade food processing for sale to the public.  Takes effect on 1/1/2016.  (SD1)	HTH/AGL, CPN
SB826 Status and Testimony	RELATING TO CONDOMINIUMS. Establishes provisions for condominium association annual meetings and quorum requirements.  Permits the board of an association to employ and discharge the managing agent of an association, subject to a vote of a majority of the unit owners at an association meeting.  Provides an exemption for a condominium project in which a majority of the units have been submitted to one or more vacation plans, or in which one or more units has been submitted to a vacation plan established by the developer of the project or by an affiliate of the developers. SB798 SD1 (SSCR393) Status and Testimony	RELATING TO HEALTH. Requires a pain medication agreement to be executed between a patient and any prescriber of a narcotic drug within the State for use as pain medication under certain conditions.  Requires the administrator of the narcotics enforcement division to develop and make available a template of a pain medication agreement for use in the State.  Specifies the contents of the template.  (SD1)	HTH/PSM, CPN [Measure added on 2/25/2015]
SB1219 SD1 (SSCR474) Status and Testimony	RELATING TO EMPLOYMENT SECURITY. Allows the department of labor and industrial relations to set criteria for independent contractor status.  Establishes criteria for when the department shall presume an individual is an independent contractor.  Requires the department to certify independent contractors.  Allows independent contractors to provide a written copy of certification to each customer.  Places the burden of proving an employee-employer relationship on the certified independent contractor if the contractor files an unemployment insurance benefits claim against a customer.  Effective January 7, 2059.  (SD1)	JDL, CPN [Measure added on 2/26/2015]
SB754 SD1 (SSCR57) Status and Testimony	RELATING TO TIME SHARING. Provides cancellation rights to persons who contract to buy a short-term product in Hawaii.  Allows disbursement of purchasers' funds to a developer; provided that the developer first posts a bond, letter of credit, or other financial assurance.  (SD1)	TSI, CPN [Measure added on 2/26/2015]
