Updates the offenses of falsifying business records, obtaining a government-issued identification document under false pretenses in the first and second degree, tampering with a government record, and unsworn falsification to authorities, to address the use of new technology and make the offenses applicable to electronic or digital statements, documents, or records. RELATING TO PERSONAL INFORMATION. Makes permanent the amendments allowing a business to scan an individual's driver's license or Hawaii identification card to verify age when providing age-restricted goods or services. Removes reference to "the business" from the reasonable doubt standard for proof of age. (HB2666 HD1)
