RELATING TO TRUANCY. Establishes a working group administratively attached to the department of education to study methods to prevent or control truancy in elementary schools, including the creation of a community truancy board. (HB190 HD1)

RELATING TO FISH. Requires the DLNR to calculate penalties for the unlawful taking of each saltwater or freshwater non-game fish, or any specimen of aquatic life, by multiplying each separate species unlawfully taken by the quantity of that species taken, using the appropriate fine based on the species of the fish or aquatic life.

RELATING TO FAMILY COURT. Clarifies the appointment requirements and qualifications for child custody evaluators. Requires the Judiciary to establish a complaint process regarding a child custody evaluator appointed by the court. (HB1137 HD1)

RELATING TO THE ACCESS HAWAII COMMITTEE. Designates the chief information officer or the chief information officer's designee to serve on and chair the access Hawaii committee. Requires the access Hawaii committee to include the portal manager's financial reports in its annual report to the legislature. (SD1).
