HB662	RELATING TO KANAKA MAOLI FISHPONDS. Provides Department of Land and Natural Resources lease preferences for the reconstruction, restoration, repair, or use of kanaka maoli fishponds. Defines "kanaka maoli fishponds" as "Hawaiian fishponds." Effective July 1, 2013.	OMH/WAL
HB697	MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT COST ITEMS. Makes appropriation for the public employment cost items of and cost adjustments for employees of legislative agencies.	LAB, FIN
HB734	RELATING TO THE PROTECTION OF TARO LANDS. Amends land use classifications to add taro lands to unique agricultural lands. Requires retention of supporting structures for taro fields. Expands the scope of eligibility requirements for the Hawaii Medal of Honor to include service members, including members of the Hawaii national guard, United States military reserves, and regular United States armed forces, who commit suicide on the battlefield or when deployed. Requires the board of education in coordination with the police and fire departments of each county to develop and implement measures to protect students in public schools from violence or the threat of violence. Requires the board of education to adopt a policy against school bullying.
