Rep. Beth Fukumoto was elected in 2012 to represent Mililani and Mililani Mauka in the State House. Growing up in Mililani has given Beth a unique ability to be a strong and effective advocate for the needs of our community and its residents. Prior to her election, Beth served the Legislature as the Director of Research for the House Minority, the youngest person to be appointed to the position. Her experiences at the State Capitol enabled her to hit the ground running in her first legislative session.

Beth was honored to be selected by her colleagues to serve as Minority Floor Leader during her first term in office and hopes to inspire other young people through her leadership role. She often says that one of the best parts of representing Mililani is having the opportunity to visit schools and talk with students about the importance of getting involved and encouraging them to make a difference in our community and our state.
