RELATING TO HUMAN SERVICES.

Requires the department of human services to allow persons to conduct child and vulnerable adult abuse perpetrator checks on the department's website as part of background checks for employment, volunteer, licensure, or certification purposes.  (HB770 HD1)

RELATING TO HUMAN SERVICES.

Creates and implements a silver alert program to alert the public of any missing senior citizen with an impaired mental condition, to be operated concurrently with the Maile Amber Alert program.  Effective July 1, 2012.  (HB771 HD1)

RELATING TO BUSINESS.

Establishes unlicensed contracting activity as a misdemeanor offense; establishes habitual unlicensed contracting activity and unlicensed contractor fraud as felonies.  Requires that each day of unlicensed contracting activity be deemed a separate offense.  (HD1)

RELATING TO HOUSING.

Requires any unit owner to comply with the declaration, covenants, bylaws, and administrative provisions of the association of owners.  Establishes penalties and liens for violating the requirements of the association.  Requires the association to establish rules to implement and enforce the requirements.  Effective July 1, 2012.  (HB2721 HD1)
