RELATING TO INSURANCE.

Requires insurers that offer health care coverage to the regular employees of any group or association to offer the same coverage to part-time employees working at least 15 hours per week.  Requires the insurance commissioner to report to the legislature on cost-benefit. (SD1)

RELATING TO THIRD PARTY LIABILITY FOR MEDICAID.

Ensures state compliance with the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 (P.L. 109-171) by strengthening the State's ability to identify and obtain payments from first or third party payers that are legally responsible to pay for health care services received by medicaid recipients primary to medicaid.  (SD2)

RELATING TO INTERSTATE COMPACT ON EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY FOR MILITARY CHILDREN.

Enacts the interstate compact on educational opportunity for military children to remove barriers to educational attainment faced by children of military families due to frequent moves and deployment of parents.  (SB1164 HD1)
