Received message numbers 230 to 241 requesting immediate passage of the following House Bills authorizing emergency operating appropriations:
H.B. No. 1226 appropriates $626,000 in general funds to the Department of Accounting and General Services to cover electricity payments for state facilities.
H.B. No. 1227 appropriates $800,000 in general funds and $2,926,000 in revolving funds to the Department of Accounting and General Services to cover increases in property insurance premiums and deductibles.
H.B. No. 1338 appropriates $250,000 in compliance resolution funds to the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs to investigate power outages that occurred due to the earthquake on October 15, 2006.
H.B. No. 1345 appropriates $24,900,000 in general funds to the Department of Defense to cover emergency relief and recovery operations due to the earthquake on October 15, 2006.
H.B. No. 1370 appropriates $8,377,698 in general funds to the Department of Health for ongoing services provided by the adult mental health division.
H.B. No. 1371 appropriates $4,980,523 in general funds to the Department of Health for the State's Medicaid home and community-based services programs for persons with developmental disabilities and mental retardation.
H.B. No. 1372 appropriates $1,900,000 in general funds to the Department of Health for costs reimbursement of emergency aeromedical services provided by the Hawaii Army National Guard.
H.B. No. 1373 appropriates $5,299,809 in general funds to the Department of Health for early intervention services.
H.B. No. 1377 appropriates $41,000,000 in special funds to the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation for operational costs.
H.B. No. 1378 appropriates $950,000 in general funds to the Department of Health for Kahuku Hospital.
H.B. No. 1414 appropriates $4,500,000 in general funds to the Department of Taxation for administration of the City & County of Honolulu surcharge on the state general excise tax.
H.B. No. 1943 appropriates $10,000,000 in special funds to the Department of Health for the Deposit Beverage Container Program.
