A BILL FOR AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR HANA AND KA‘U SCHOOLS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2007-2008, for student transportation as follows:
(1) One van for Hana high and elementary school $50,000
(2) One van for Ka‘u high school $50,000
The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of education for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2007.
