A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

 

RELATING TO HOUSING.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

 

     SECTION 1.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $62,150,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2007-2008, to be deposited into the state low income housing revolving fund for the purposes of section 356D-45.

     SECTION 2.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $62,150,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2007-2008, to be deposited into the rental housing trust fund for the purposes of section 201H-202.

     SECTION 3.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $58,400,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2007-2008, to be deposited into the dwelling unit revolving fund for the purposes of section 201H-191.

     SECTION 4.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $19,500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2007-2008, to be deposited into the rental assistance revolving fund for the purposes of section 201H-123.

     SECTION 5.  There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $8,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2007-2008, to be deposited into the housing finance revolving fund for the purposes of section 201H-80.

     SECTION 6.  The sum appropriated under section 1 of this Act shall be expended by the Hawaii public housing authority for the purposes of this Act.  The sums appropriated under section 2, 3, 4, and 5 of this Act shall be expended by the Hawaii housing finance and development corporation for the purposes of this Act.

     SECTION 7.  This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2007.
